The room is stocked and new-fashioned with a pull out bed...

Comfortable bed.

Hotel was crowded with teenagers. Hockey teams. They were loud, running up and down the hallways, yelling loudly, late into the night. The staff did nothing. The breakfast area was like a crowded high school. We decided to pass on the breakfast. We will never stay at this hotel again. I've heard that it has a history of booking sports teams like this. No thanks.

Convenient location. Good beds. Good temperature.

Comfortable bed, clean lobby, with friendly staff who provided helpful information and maintained a pleasant atmosphere during my two-night stay, just 6 miles from the airport.

I paid for a king suite which is nice to have the extra room to do some work And have a microwave and fridge

I paid for a king suite and after a long day at work I retired to my bed to wake up to ANTS I Couldn't get ready for work as they were every where in the bathroom I went to front desk to ask them to take care of the matter while I had a quick breakfast. Although they did I was still late for work and they didn't even budge on accommodating me a discount on the room to say the least! Like oh well sorry

Here's why it's a mixed review

The beds were super comfy! The staff was friendly and accommodating, helping us check in a bit early. Location was ideal, very close to IKEA and major stores!

Pool cleanliness could use improvement! I experienced issues with room availability, quite frustrating during check-in.

Friendly staff, rooms are up to date and modern and they have a great breakfast.

We had planned to pay for our room using American Express travellers cheques but they would not accept them. We had to go to several banks to try and cash the cheques and we wasted a lot of time doing this.

Great room -- clean, quiet, everything worked, and very good breakfast in the morning.

It was clean. Beds weren't comfortable. Heating was noisy and old.

Very noisey. Paper thin walls. Doors slamming.You could here the person above are room walking around,she must of been walking laps in her room all evening long. The couple next to us must of been honeymooning it also, nothing like hearing a banging bed all night long. This was not a restful place yo stay. If you have screaming unruly kids then this place would be great. Plenty of that too. We drove 12 hours for a funeral

I stayed at the holiday inn express for 2 nights and loved the location! It was perfect for my training class and just off the highway. The standard king room with a mobility accessible tub was comfy, the bed felt amazing, and my showers were nice and hot. The lobby had a festive vibe, and the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Excellent mattresses, clean room, incredible breakfast and huge selection, Staff were very friendly and helpful gave us great directions to down town Detroit. Close to IKEA and restaurants. GREAT JOB

The bed was the best part

We had to wait an hour to check in because my credit card was charged 3 times. I'm still waiting on getting my money back. We reserved king suite with a jacuzzi and from the get go my reservation was screwed up. To top it off it was our one year anniversary. Worst hotel experience ever and I have worked in hotels for 6 years.

We had an awesome stay with fantastic breakfast options. I loved the fluffy pancakes and fresh omelets! The jetted tub was a real treat for relaxation, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like home. I would definitely come back!

Decent hotel, excellent and best staff, ideal location to shopping areas. Extremely comfy bed, clean bathroom and central heating, pay television and a microwave in the room. Location near to the ballpark of meeting the standard of, the air port and restaurants: D
